GYNAECOLOGY SERVICES
Dr Kylie Goh provides specialist care in a wide range of gynaecological services from her consulting rooms in Frances Perry House, Parkville, near Melbourne CBD. Kylie is dedicated in providing the highest level of care in women’s health for all ages and backgrounds. She is thorough in her approach and ensures her patients receives the attention and individualised care they require. Kylie holds a Consultant position in the Gynaecology unit at The Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne and she is working closely with fellow sub-specialty gynaecologists (ie. urogynaecologists and advanced laparoscopic surgeons). She is committed to continuous learning and up-skilling in the latest gynaecology techniques and medical research.
All elective surgical procedures are conducted at Frances Perry House and Kylie has regular operating lists available for her private patients.
Services include:
Contraception advice including Insertion of Mirena and Implanon
Cervical screening, management of abnormal smears, colposcopy and further treatment
Pre-pregnancy counselling and planning
Initial investigation for fertility issues
Management of heavy bleeding and difficult periods including removal of fibroids, polyps and hysterectomy
Treatment of pelvic pain, endometriosis and ovarian cysts including advanced laparoscopic surgery
Management of incontinence and prolapse repair
Menopause and postmenopausal bleeding
Providing services to care for the life journey in women’s health.
AT YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
For your first consultation, we ask patients to return via email or bring at appointment:
Referral from GP and/or other specialists
Latest pap smear results
Recent ultrasound scans
Recent pathology tests
Any additional investigations
In most cases, Dr Kylie Goh will be able to conduct minor procedures like colposcopy, insertion of Mirena, pessary placement in our on-site treatment room in Parkville. However, sometimes due to unforeseeable circumstances this may not be possible or is not the most suitable option for patients. Kylie will discuss other options which may include a follow up appointment or arrangements for elective surgery.
FEES
All gynaecology consultations and procedures in rooms incur private fees. Please contact us to obtain a fee schedule. A valid GP referral is required so we can help process your Medicare claim on the spot. Payment is usually to be made on the day of consultation. We accept cash, credit card, EFTPOS and cheque for payment.
All elective surgery is conducted as a private patient in Frances Perry House, Parkville near Melbourne CBD. Out of pocket fees will apply. Surgical quotes are provided prior to confirming any bookings. All surgical quotes include fees for Dr Kylie Goh only. Hospital fees and other medical specialists (such as ultrasounds, pathology, anaesthetists, surgical assistants etc) involved in your surgery are additional to Kylie’s fees and billed separately.
Please always confirm with your private health insurance provider what your policy covers including gynaecology procedures in a private hospital and that you have fulfilled any waiting periods. For self-funding and overseas patients, please also contact Frances Perry House for an estimate of hospital fees and charges. A total payment for hospital stay is generally required upfront if you do not have the appropriate private health insurance.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide surgical fee estimates over the phone if you are not a current patient of the practice.
